What you will be doing:

• Managing civil litigation matters through every phase from filing to trial
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery requests
• Taking and defending depositions including witness and expert preparation
• Handling court appearances, hearings and case management conferences
• Developing litigation strategy and managing motion practice
• Preparing cases for mediation, arbitration and trial

What you need to bring:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
• Three to four years of civil litigation experience at a law firm
• Experience in both Florida state and federal courts
• Strong motion practice, discovery and deposition experience
• Trial preparation experience is required
• Judicial clerkship or actual trial experience is a strong plus
