A bit about us:Our client is an established business law firm based in Baltimore. Its attorneys handle litigation, commercial real estate, business transactions, tax, and estates and trusts. The litigation group represents businesses and individuals in high-stakes commercial disputes, including business divorces, fights over company control, trade secret claims, real estate litigation and complex arbitrations. Clients include real estate owners and developers, commercial landlords, investors, hospitality and healthcare operators, and closely held companies. The firm's attorneys appear regularly in Maryland state and federal courts and also handle matters in other jurisdictions across the country, including Delaware Chancery Court
Why join us?Why Join Us:
- No insurance defense work. Every matter belongs to a client with a real business problem, not a carrier managing a file.
- You work directly with the principal who leads these cases. You'll get early, substantive involvement: drafting key motions, taking depositions and helping shape case strategy, not just running document review.
- The matters vary: business divorces, real estate fights, fiduciary duty arbitrations, trade secret disputes, class actions and more. You'll build a broad commercial litigation skill set, not a narrow niche.
- Because the firm also has transactional, real estate and tax practices, you'll learn how the business side of a client's problem drives the litigation.
- You get the matters of a large firm without its scale, and your work is visible to the people who decide your path.
