We're partnered with a national AV-rated defense firm recruiting experienced attorneys for its California General Liability practice. Our client is open to Associate, Senior Associate, Of Counsel, and Partner level candidates as the practice group expands. This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative practice group where you'll get hands‑on litigation experience and direct mentorship from Partners.The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with the following:Drafting and responding to complaints, motions, and written discoveryTaking and defending depositionsAttending hearings, mediations, and trialsManaging an active caseload (up to ~20 matters)Working directly with clients to develop litigation strategyQualificationsAn active California bar license in good standing and JD from an ABA-approved law school is required for consideration. Interested candidates should have at least 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience, ideally in general liability , mass tort , toxic tort, construction defect, or insurance defense . Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for success, and trial, mediation, or junior associate mentoring experience is a significant plus.Salary is between $130K–$250K commensurate with experience, with quarterly bonuses based on billable hours and annual reviews for raises.
