If you practice municipal litigation in Colorado, you know this firm.
Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry, P.C. has represented Colorado’s cities, counties, and special districts for decades. The firm handles the civil litigation and municipal law matters that shape how government actually works: condemnation and eminent domain disputes, CORA (Colorado Open Records Act) litigation, intergovernmental agreement disputes, and land use. If you have practiced civil litigation in Colorado, especially municipal or local government law, Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry, P.C. is a name you already know.
The firm is a specialized boutique with deep expertise in a narrow, consequential niche. The attorneys here work on matters of genuine public significance rather than private commercial disputes. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and direct: you get your work done, you meet your deadlines, and you are an integral part of a real litigation team.
The Role
Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry, P.C. is growing its civil litigation workload and adding an Associate Attorney to carry that capacity. This is a full-cycle litigation role: you will carry matters from initial case analysis through resolution, whether that means settlement, a hearing, or trial. You will work under the direction of experienced directors who trust you to drive the work, and you will own whole matters end to end. If you want to build a long-term home in municipal civil litigation and do real, consequential work, this is that opportunity.
What You Will Be Involved With
What You Must Have
Strong Advantages (Not Required)
Municipal or local government law experience (condemnation and eminent domain, CORA, intergovernmental agreements, land use), experience representing government entities, and contract drafting are all meaningful differentiators. Most civil litigators will not have this background. If you do, say so.
