Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will lead and manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, providing expert legal counsel and representation across a broad spectrum of practice areas. Your energetic approach and strong negotiation skills will drive successful outcomes for clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases, develop innovative legal strategies, and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking law office environment.Duties Manage a comprehensive caseload of civil litigation cases, including personal injury, landlord-tenant disputes, environmental law, premises liability, product liability, construction defect & injury, defamation / privacy, breach of contract, and private attorney general act matters.Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw and other legal research tools to support case development and strategy formulation.Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and appellate briefs with precision and clarity.Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions.Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, provide clear guidance on legal options, and negotiate effectively on their behalf.Maintain meticulous case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of all legal documents in accordance with court rules.Stay current on evolving laws across multiple practice areas including immigration law, land use issues, securities regulations, and more to provide informed counsel.Skills Knowledge of civil litigation procedures across our various practice areas.Tenacious research skills utilizing Westlaw and other tools for in-depth legal analysis.Strong legal drafting skills with an emphasis on clarity, accuracy, and persuasive writing.Utilize or develop negotiation abilities to facilitate settlements that align with client goals.Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom advocacy.Legal administrative experience including managing case files, billing time, and tracking deadlines efficiently.Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
