CMDA is seeking a highly-motivated civil litigation associate with 6+ years of active civil litigation experience to assist with a fast-paced trial docket and to help grow our Kansas City, Missouri office.Qualified candidates must be licensed in Missouri and Kansas and have experience with:Independently handling an active caseload with little to no supervisionTaking and defending depositions (parties, experts, etc.)Preparing complex pleadings and motions, including petitions, answers, motions for summary judgment, discovery-related motions, etc.Drafting and arguing motions before a trial courtQualified candidates must have excellent research and writing skills and strong communication and organization skills.
