HumanHire is partnered with a highly respected Mid-Sized Law Firm to find a Civil Litigation Attorney to join their growing team in Southfield. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex civil litigation matters while receiving exceptional mentorship and hands-on courtroom experience in a collaborative environment.

We Offer:
  • Pay: $110K - $160K Base Salary + Bonus
  • Bonus: Billable hour bonus (1,800-hour target with additional incentives)
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, PTO, Paid Parental Leave, and more
  • Schedule: 2 days in-office, 3 days WFH
  • Location: Southfield, MI
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload involving civil and insurance defense litigation.
  • Handle depositions, motion practice, discovery, and case strategy from inception through resolution.
  • Collaborate with experts, clients, and senior attorneys to evaluate claims and develop defense strategies.
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while providing timely case updates and legal guidance.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery.
  • Active Michigan Bar admission.
