Job DescriptionPosition: Staff Attorney – Civil Litigation (Full‑time, on‑site, Houston, TX)Primary practice areas: property preservation, probate, heirs' property, criminal record clearing, juvenile law, and civil litigation with a focus on social justice and community‑based cases.ResponsibilitiesCounsel clients and represent them in civil litigation matters.Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and prepare for court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.Collaborate with colleagues, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and maintaining client relationships.Manage multiple caseloads and prioritize duties effectively.QualificationsLicensed to practice law in the state of Texas.Proficiency in legal analysis and drafting of motions.Experience with court procedures, trial preparation, and depositions.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple caseloads.Experience in civil litigation, preferably in social justice or community‑based cases.Commitment to social justice and legal advocacy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
