Civil Project Engineer

Our client is a leading heavy civil contractor with more than three decades of success serving public and private sector clients throughout Massachusetts. Known for its commitment to quality, safety, and employee development, the company specializes in utility construction, site work, paving, asphalt production, transportation infrastructure, and airport projects. Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects
• Assist with project documentation, scheduling, reporting, and subcontractor coordination
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence
• Help manage project costs, quantities, budgets, and production tracking
• Coordinate with field personnel to ensure project requirements and schedules are met
• Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid preparation, and project closeout activities
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to support project execution
• Maintain accurate project records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

A successful Civil Project Engineer should have:

• 3-4+ years of experience in civil construction, heavy civil, site development, roadway, utility, or infrastructure projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and field operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with Bid2Win, Agtek Earthworks, and/or AutoCAD is highly desirable
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in both office and field environments as required
• Must be able to commute to Falmouth, MA and regional project sites
