Job Description

Assist Project Managers with the planning, execution, and closeout of civil construction projects. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and production goals to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, owners, and field personnel. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Track project costs and support forecasting and budgeting activities. Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Assist with procurement and material purchasing activities. Support field operations by conducting site visits and coordinating project logistics. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements. Participate in client and project team meetings and provide regular project updates.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Civil Project Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 1-5 years of experience in civil construction, heavy civil, site development, utilities, roadway, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and contract administration.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• EIT certification or progress toward professional licensure is a plus.
• Highly motivated with a desire to grow into a Project Management role.
