Civil Project Engineer

Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects. Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure work progresses according to plan. Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation. Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence. Assist with procurement of materials and equipment. Track project progress and prepare regular reports for project management teams. Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications. Support quality control, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts. Work closely with field personnel to resolve technical and operational challenges. Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in project meetings with clients, engineers, consultants, and internal teams.

A successful Civil Project Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure, site development, utilities, heavy highway, or related construction projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering principles. Familiarity with project management processes, scheduling, and cost controls. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
