Civil Project Manager (PE)

Are you a licensed Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a firm that values technical excellence, leadership, and long-term growth?

We're partnering with a respected engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Project Manager (PE) to lead a diverse portfolio of land development and public infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage civil engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support.

  • Lead the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and calculations.

  • Design and oversee land development projects involving site grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and site improvements.

  • Manage public infrastructure projects including roadway improvements, water distribution, wastewater collection, and municipal utility systems.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project delivery.

  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals.

  • Monitor project performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure successful project execution.

  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while supporting their professional development.

  • Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience.

  • Strong background in land development, site design, municipal engineering, or public infrastructure.

  • Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil engineering software.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Project management and team leadership experience.

  • Business development or client relationship management.

  • Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, or municipal projects.
