We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a civil engineering/construction background to support and lead projects in the San Diego area. This is a hybrid role combining remote work with regular on-site project presence.

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting, and safety requirements

  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues proactively
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support business growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with San Diego market, codes, and permitting processes
  • Experience with SDUSD (San Diego Unified School District) projects is a strong plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Flexible structure with high autonomy
  • No formal office setting currently - ideal for someone comfortable operating independently
