Company DescriptionTimmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager - Structure and Bridge Design candidate to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group located in our Raleigh, NC office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Lead and manage design efforts for the Structural Engineering teamClient management and developmentDevelop work plans, schedules, estimates, and budgetsSupervise, coordinate, and review the work of engineersMentor junior engineersPerform complex design for new and rehabilitation projectsBridge design and load rating experience is a plusAssist with the development and implementation of marketing plansSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering; master's degree preferred8-15 years of structural design experienceCurrent North Carolina PE license (or the ability to obtain through comity upon hiring)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standardsProficiency in structural design software such as MDX, Virtis, Merlin-Dash, Descus, Bar7, STAAD, etc.Additional InformationThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
