The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty training, and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Primary Responsibility: The primary responsibility of the Civil Rights Investigator is to conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into reports of harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, and retaliation pursuant to university policy as well as state and federal law. This includes collecting information in an efficient and supportive manner, composing a clear final report detailing the information obtained, and applying logical reasoning to make findings of fact and responsibility in accordance with university standards.
In addition to formal investigations, the Investigator will facilitate alternative resolution to help prevent behaviors from reoccurring and bridge the gap between intention and impact. The Investigator will also support the development and delivery of education and prevention programs and work collaboratively with campus partners to promote the EEO mission and build trust with campus constituents.
Required Skills:
