Our Austin, TX office has an immediate opportunity for a Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist to join our Roadway Design Team. This position is well-suited for an early-career engineer seeking hands‑on experience supporting transportation and infrastructure projects throughout Central Texas and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and review of roadway, highway, and site development projectsSupport roadway geometrics, modeling, and cross-section developmentContribute to grading, drainage, and stormwater management designAssist with erosion and sediment control plansSupport traffic control plans, traffic studies, and signalization layoutsPrepare signing, pavement marking, and utility coordination plansAssist with preparation of plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), and schematic design documentsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field0–4 years of relevant roadway or civil engineering experience preferredSuccessful completion of the FE exam / Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificationExperience or exposure to MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, InRoads/GEOPAK, Microsoft Office; AutoCAD a plusActive participation in professional societies encouragedAbility to perform essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safetyCompensation Range$64,848.58 - $86,464.77Don't meet every single requirement?
