Pay: $45.51/hour

Position Summary

COMPANY is seeking a Civil Staff Engineering Technician to support utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects. This role is responsible for developing and modifying civil engineering deliverables, including site plans, grading designs, drainage systems, utility layouts, roadways, and other site development components using Autodesk Civil 3D and related design tools.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Civil 3D grading
• Autodesk Civil 3D experience
• Diploma or Certificate required
• Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design Technology, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Must be located within 50 miles of one of the listed office locations
• Green Card Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Solar project experience
• PVcase experience
• PV Farm software experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify civil engineering drawings, site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts.
• Create and maintain project deliverables using Civil 3D and other engineering design tools.
• Perform design calculations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and documentation.
• Review design inputs and deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams to support project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other engineering professionals and technicians.
• Assist with project schedules, work assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support field activities and stay current with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
