Overview The E&C Engineer I will support a regional energy supply projects group, helping manage capital projects across multiple power generation facilities . Although the formal title is “E&C Engineer,” the role functions largely as a project engineer/project manager , overseeing a wide range of emergent and base capital projects while collaborating closely with internal operations, reliability engineering teams, and external vendors.This position requires an engineering background combined with strong project leadership skills. The engineer may manage up to 20 small projects simultaneously , while also supporting larger capital initiatives.Responsibilities Manage emergent, base, and major capital projects from conception through completionDevelop scopes of work, technical specifications, project plans, budgets, and justification packagesSupport reliability engineering by preparing emergent capital requests and pushing them through internal approval processesOversee contractors and external engineering firms as neededCoordinate equipment procurement, quotes, bids, delivery, and installationRegularly collaborate with operations and reliability engineering to understand plant systems and upcoming needsParticipate in daily POD (planning/operations discussion) meetingsComplete all administrative project documentation and reportingMust Have Skills 1-2 years of Civil/Structural Engineering background with PE is a MUSTExperience managing contractorsAbility to multi‑task and manage numerous projects simultaneously without sacrificing qualityStrong initiative, communication, and teamwork skillsBachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related discipline)#J-18808-Ljbffr
