About the Company
Our client is a specialized foundation repair and structural inspection firm that combines hands-on fieldwork with engineering expertise. This is not a desk-only role-engineers are actively involved in both field inspections and technical reporting.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site structural and foundation inspections of residential properties
- Perform hands-on evaluations, including working in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces)
- Analyze findings and develop detailed engineering reports and recommendations
- Communicate results clearly to builders, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior engineers for review and approval of work (as needed)
- Participate in both fieldwork and office-based engineering tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Open to:
- Experienced/registered engineers, or
- Entry-level graduates willing to be trained
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (client-facing role)
- Willingness and ability to perform hands-on fieldwork, including crawling under structures
- Detail-oriented with strong reporting and documentation skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to completing both field and office responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
- Additional compensation per site visit
- Opportunity for supplemental income through estimating work
- High earning potential (top performers can exceed $150K+, with historical examples nearing ~$190K total compensation)
Why This Role
- Blend of hands-on fieldwork and technical engineering
- Opportunity to learn and grow under experienced engineers
- High-impact role directly influencing structural safety and repair solutions
- Strong earning potential with performance-based upside
