Come see how to Be Better at SEA, Ltd.!Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Conduct structural field investigations and analyze failures involving various structural and construction related problems involving residential, commercial and industrial propertiesDetermine of the origin and cause, and extent of structural failures, water intrusions, roof damage, construction defects and building system failures including envelope, roof, wall and glazingAnalyze failures in buildings and other infrastructure systems by conducting site visits and applying engineering principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standardsConduct unbiased investigations for various types of clientsResponsible for retention and development of client relationsPrepare oral and written reports in layman's terms that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediationDeliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groupsAbility to support conclusions by appropriate expert testimony in legal proceedingsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree required, master's degree highly preferred in Architecture, Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of seven (7) years of post-academic civil / structural engineer experienceP. E.
