Salary Range
$85,000–$95,000, depending on experience. Quarterly performance bonus potential.

Key Functions
Design structures by calculating loads and stresses in materials and structures
Prepare structural steel and reinforced concrete plans (plan views and sections) for civil and public works projects
Develop engineering documents, construction specifications, plans, and schedules from project concepts, drawings, and models
Apply principles of mechanics, mathematics, and physics to produce design calculations and oversee production of drawings
Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data using computer modeling software
Provide technical direction to CAD technicians for project drawings
Interact directly with clients on ongoing project requirements
Experience
1-2 years of experience in structural design
Experience with Finite Element Analysis software (RISA), AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
