KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Civil Structural Engineer near Rancho Cucamonga, Ca,
Position Summary:
- The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing aboveground steel storage tanks for water, oil, and other liquid storage applications in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Projects will include tank structures, concrete foundations, platforms, walkways, stairways, baffle systems, and related components.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze aboveground steel storage tanks and related structures
- Prepare engineering calculations and supporting documentation
- Research building code and jurisdictional requirements
- Interpret customer specifications, plans, and drawings
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, drafting teams, and customers
- Support projects through design, fabrication, and installation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Participate in research and development initiatives
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design
- Experience with bulk storage silos and tank design highly preferred
- Experience with industrial structures and infrastructure preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
Compensation depends on experience but is typically 100-150k DOE.
