Seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer based in Mobile, Alabama, with the ability to work remotely and travel as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred P. Eng. certification.
Responsibilities include supervising engineering staff, managing civil/structural projects, reviewing bid packages, and producing preliminary designs and cost estimates. Must be familiar with codes (IBC, AISC, ASCE, ACI), civil/structural analysis software (Risa 3D & Risa Foundation), CAD, and Microsoft Office.
Candidates should have project management experience, civil/structural analysis skills, and the ability to perform fieldwork and quality checks. Willingness to travel and work 40+ hours/week, with potential overtime, is required.
