Civil Surveyor

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced Civil Surveyor for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This position combines field surveying with office-based survey calculations, documentation, and plan preparation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveying. Civil Engineers with strong field experience and an interest in surveying are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
• Provide construction stakeout and field layout services
• Perform field data collection and process survey information
• Prepare calculations, cut sheets, and supporting survey documentation
• Research land titles, deeds, plats, and previous survey records
• Conduct job site visits and field inspections
• Assist with preparation and review of survey drawings and site information
• Work with project teams to ensure accurate field layout and survey data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of boundary, topographic, construction, or related surveying experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Familiarity with GIS software and field data collection systems
• Experience using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment
• Exposure to 3D scanners or similar survey technology preferred
• Ability to perform survey calculations and interpret plans, deeds, and property records
• Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
• Civil Engineering background with relevant field experience will also be considered
