We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of technical experience to become an
integral member of the engineering team.

Role: CL-Advanced Electrical Engineer
What You'll Do:
∙Analyze and design AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control
∙Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
∙Develop test criteria and assist in the design of test systems
∙Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions
to design hardware and electronics based on commercial and industry components and
technologies
∙Design cable assemblies
∙Develop new electronics in the form of PCB designs and corresponding tests
∙Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to
explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer
∙Generate design and interface documentation
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
∙Experience with the engineering development life cycle, including concept, requirements,
design, implementation, and test phases
∙Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or
Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3
years of job-related experience.
∙Experience with MIL-STD-1399 and MIL-STD-461 design and qualification
∙Experience with design and debug of switch mode DC-DC converters including
knowledge of control loop stability analysis
∙Experience with design and debug of 3-phase AC-DC conversion including transformer design
∙Working knowledge of common communication interfaces such as RS-422, RS-485, and LVDS
∙Experience in analog and digital circuit design
∙Experience with lab equipment including signal generators, high speed oscilloscopes, power analyzers
∙Proficiency in all phases of PCB design, including: creation of high-level functional
diagrams, SPICE analysis, power analysis, component selection, schematic entry, and
working with the PCB layout team to optimize placement, signal integrity, fitment, etc.
∙Strong documentation and communication skills
∙OrCAD Capture experience a plus
∙Experience with firmware or microcontrollers a plus
∙Experience with VHDL/Verilog a plus
