JOB DESCRIPTION
The employee in this position will be responsible for connecting families experiencing homelessness and housing instability with needed community resources in order to remove barriers to student enrollment, attendance and academic achievement. This person will implement and follow the McKinney-Vento law and regulations. This person will also attend and be involved in various community committees and boards that assist children and families. This may require a flexible schedule in order to attend evening events, as well as assist in preparing program reports and perform other job-related duties as assigned in the Learning Supports & Programs department.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
High school diploma or equivalent
Must present transcripts of highest level of education within thirty (30) days of hire.
Spanish bilingual skills required - must pass the STAMP bilingual assessment within two weeks of job offer.
Must have reliable personal transportation and valid car insurance
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to meet the Physical Demands of the position.
Must pass a basic skills test.
Completion of Safe Schools Web Based Training within thirty (30) days of hire and yearly thereafter.
Must pass a background check, which includes employee-paid fingerprinting.
