Position Specific Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Claims Analyst to join our growing Claims team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations of our high-volume claims programs, including fast track consumer insurance claims. You will work closely with internal teams, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), and external partners to ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and escalated appropriately and in alignment with our best-in-class service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review claims determinations for high-volume programs, fast track consumer claims, including pet insurance
  • Manage and review Claims Bordereaux (BDXs) for accuracy and timely import into the claims management system
  • Liaise with TPAs, MGAs/MGUs, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of documentation, data accuracy, and resolution of action items
  • Generate large loss reports, management reports, and operational reports as directed by Claims Management
  • Monitor TPA and external contractor performance against established SLA benchmarks
  • Maintain organized and complete claims files and documentation in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce manual tasks and improve claims cycle times
  • Support the broader Claims team with administrative and operational tasks as needed, including claim payments and cash calls
  • Document operational processes and assist in implementing policies, practices, and standards that promote consistent and effective claims handling
  • Support Claims Management in scheduling annual Stewardship Meetings and claims audits and in preparing responses to external and internal audits

What Were Looking For

  • 3+ years of claims experience, preferably in a high-volume or fast-track environment
  • Familiarity with claims administration concepts including BDX processing, FNOL handling, and TPA coordination
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with claims management systems is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working within a matrixed team structure and collaborating across functions

Job Overview

This job is responsible for handling personal injury and major property damages claims asserted by or against the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigates, evaluates and negotiates satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims
  • Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License (NON CDL)
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 4+ years
