Medical Claims Associate<\/span><\/u>
<\/p>

The Claims Business Associate will perform all the duties necessary to ensure group members and providers receive proper payment of policy benefits in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer service.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Duties include but are not limited to:<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Receive pending claims for evaluation and processing.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Enter and/or review claims data in the claims administration system and adjudicate claims.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Accurately code explanation of benefits.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain claims and task procedural, financial, and timing standards.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Adjudicate pending claims.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Review claims and research as needed.<\/span>
<\/p>

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Process claims received.<\/span>
<\/p>

Experience: 3+ years claims processing experience. A working knowledge of ICD10, CPT codes and HIPAA guidelines; knowledge of medical terminology.<\/span>
<\/p>

This is a fully remote position.<\/span>
