Manage medical malpractice claims through resolution for assigned physician members.
• Evaluate facts, allegations, liability, and damages.
• Issue and maintain appropriate case reserves.
• Consult insureds, claimants, defense attorneys, plaintiff attorneys, and third part experts during investigation and discovery process.
• Develop plan of action on assigned cases in conjunction with defense counsel.
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials.
• Interface with insured member to provide ongoing support and disclosure of investigation results.
