Set and drive strategic direction and provide executive leadership for claims department while ensuring department performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• Develop annual Claim Plan, budget, staffing analysis, and salary recommendations.

• Direct claims managers and staff, including following up on personnel development plans initiated by Managers.

• Serve as liaison to Human Resources Department to monitor all disciplinary matters and participate in candidate interviews for Claims department management positions.

• Plan Claims meetings and training.

• Monitor service objectives and production results, and measure against goals to identify opportunity areas and resolve issues.

• Lead process improvement projects and process mapping exercises to identify opportunities for optimization of efficiencies.

• Act as Corporate Representative for industry related matters and claims in litigation.
