Our services include program consultation, brokerage and administration as well as data-based marketing, analytics and merchandising expertise.  

 

Job Description Summary

 

Lead and mentor a team of Claims Adjusters. Ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient resolution of claims, while maintaining high customer service standards. Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the daily operations of the claims department, ensuring claims are processed timely and accurately while achieving weekly/monthly KPIs.
  • Lead and develop a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance, performance evaluations, coaching.
  • Assist and investigate complex or high-value claims where necessary.
  • Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends, improve processes, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Handle escalated claims issues and customer complaints with a focus on delivering high quality service.
  • Review and/or prepare reports on claims performance and team metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance claims management processes and outcomes.
  • Provide mentoring for career growth, succession planning.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Possess active State insurance adjuster’s license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of claims adjudication experience
  • Travel Insurance experience a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Change champion; Process Improvement experience

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is 68,000 to $72,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
