    Normal Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

    What You'll Do
    As a Claims Manager, you’ll lead and support a team of Claims Adjusters as they help policyholders navigate the claims process. You’ll bring your claims knowledge and leadership experience to provide guidance, remove obstacles, develop team members, and create an environment where people feel supported and equipped to do their best work.
     
    You’ll oversee property claims of varying complexity, including first-party, third-party, and litigated claims, while working alongside Claims leadership and partners across Olympus to promote consistent, thoughtful, and timely claim outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead & Support Your Team
      • Coach, mentor, and support Claims Adjusters while helping manage workloads, quality, performance, and timely claim resolution.
      • Assist with the creation and facilitation of training that builds technical knowledge, confidence, and consistency across the team.
      • Serve as a trusted resource for coverage, reserves, exposure, settlement strategy, and complex claim questions.
    • Guide Claims to Resolution
      • Provide oversight and guidance for first-party, third-party, and litigated property claims throughout the investigation, evaluation, and resolution process.
      • Review coverage matters, estimates, reserves, settlement recommendations, and claim communications while helping the team navigate more complex situations.
      • Support the resolution of disputed claims and help ensure customers receive timely, thoughtful service.
    • Strengthen Quality & Performance
      • Review open and closed claims to support consistent, accurate, compliant, and timely claim handling.
      • Partner with Quality Assurance and Claims leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and support shared department goals.
      • Contribute to audits, reporting, regulatory inquiries, and special projects as needed.
    • Collaborate Across the Claims Experience
      • Build strong working relationships with adjusters, defense counsel, agents, customers, and teams across Olympus.
      • Participate in business initiatives and meetings, including occasional travel when needed.
      • Support the team and our policyholders during catastrophe events, including additional hours when business needs require it.
     
    What You'll Bring
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • 5+ years of experience handling Florida property claims, including 3–5 years of Florida property claims management experience.
    • 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, or developing others.
    • Active Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License.
    • Strong working knowledge of property claims, including coverage, reserves, exposure, and settlement considerations.
    • A collaborative leadership style with a genuine interest in helping others learn, grow, and succeed.
    • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with people across different teams and areas of expertise.
    • Multi-state property claims experience is a plus, particularly experience with New York and California claims.
