Claims Operations Manager

In this role, you will…

• Manage claims policy and coverage questions.
• Update the Oasis claims system as necessary.
• Support and mentor assigned Claims support staff.
• Coordinate with IT for systems-related issues, including effecting changes to existing systems, as well as assisting in the design and implementation of new systems.
• Investigate stakeholder issues, identify root causes, and create procedures to handle them.
• Serve as Claims Function liaison on various committees as assigned.
• Audit assigned team's work to ensure accurate, timely delivery of service to stakeholders.
• Provide full range of administrative office and management support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Bachelor''s degree highly preferred, or equivalent insurance experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant management experience, ideally in healthcare professional liability.
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills.
• High degree of experience in claims adjudication and coverage evaluation.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and strategic-thinking skills with proven ability to initiate positive change.
• Excellent interpersonal/teamwork and customer service skills.
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• High proficiency level with office support tools and operating syestems (i.e. CRM, Microsoft Office suite, etc.)
