Claims Processor/Analyst

Our client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Claims Processor/Analyst for their Baltimore, MD location.

Responsibilities:

• This role supports the claims department and requires prior insurance experience, including familiarity with claims billing, processing, and coding, as well as researching and validating claims information. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Claims Analyst, or Claims Processor.
• Responsibilities include creating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets related to claims aging, coordination of benefits, precertifications, and other claims activities.

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel (Pivot tables and V look ups), Adobe or Fox-It is mandatory. Prior project management is needed.
• Luminex is a plus. Project and time management. Problem solving. Organizational skills. Oracle is a plus.
• Min 2 years experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Additional Notes:
• All interviews are onsite in Canton (1501 South Clinton St., Baltimore, MD, 21224) with Mildred and Wendy.
• Training: 3 weeks. Then chairside training an addt'l 3 weeks alongside another FA. The schedule during Training is 8 - 430. After training the resource can start as early as 7a - 9a.
