You'll collaborate closely with the Claims Manager and adjusters to deliver timely and professional service that makes a difference.
What You'll Do
As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for
- Processing incoming claims from DPS and MyPCS move, ensuring proper setup in the ERP system
- Assigning new claims to adjusters based on management guidance
- Receiving and managing settlement and vendor payments
- Reviewing claim notes on open/closed claims to ensure follow-ups are completed
- Monitoring and managing the shared claims email inbox
- Maintaining accurate records of claims, payments, and correspondence
- Upholding confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism in all interactions
- Supporting management with various special projects and administrative duties
- Adhering to safety rules and company policies to maintain a secure work environment
- Ensuring consistent attendance and punctuality, including flexibility for evenings and weekends when needed
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A high school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred: Knowledge of the logistics industry or an associate degree in a business-related field
- Experience with claims processing or administrative roles is a plus
