Overview:

Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor or Branch Manager, the Claims Technical Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to the claims team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient claim handling, supporting internal processes, and facilitating communication across stakeholders to drive timely resolution of claims and related matters

How you'll make an impact:

Claims & Operational Support

  • Provide advanced clerical and administrative support to the claims office, including document preparation, payment processing, file management, and mail handling
  • Create and maintain reports, tracking logs, dashboards, and spreadsheets to support claims operations
  • Coordinate file reviews, audits, and internal quality assurance processes
  • Assist with project execution as assigned by management and support continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain records, calendars, and administrative systems to support office and client operations

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with attorneys and clients on claim-related and legal matters to ensure timely communication and follow-up
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external vendors, legal partners, and clients
  • Engage with internal and external parties to proactively move issues toward resolution
  • Support examiners and leadership by escalating critical issues and ensuring alignment across stakeholders

Reporting & Tracking

  • Provide weekly reporting on claim activity, open items, audit results, and key operational metrics
  • Track outstanding issues and follow through to completion, ensuring visibility to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify trends or gaps in processes and communicate insights to leadership

Team & Office Support

  • Support lower-level clerical staff and assist with onboarding and training on systems and processes
  • Assist with office facilities coordination and support implementation of new technology and business workflows
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve team efficiency and service delivery
About you:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of relevant administrative, insurance, or claims support experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other business systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in insurance claims, legal coordination, or a similar environment
  • Exposure to claims systems, reporting tools, or workflow management platforms
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear, actionable format
