Claims Technician

Location Bedford, TX | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $21.00–$22.50 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

• W2 employment

• Target start within 2–3 weeks


Job Description

The Claims Technician supports timely and accurate claims processing by researching documentation, validating data, and ensuring files meet compliance and service standards. Success in this role means reducing processing delays, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the claims team with accurate research and documentation updates. This position plays a key role in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

• Review, research, and validate claim files for accuracy and completeness

• Enter and update claim information in internal claims management systems

• Request and organize supporting documentation from internal and external stakeholders

• Monitor claim status and follow up to ensure timely resolution

• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards


Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of administrative, claims, insurance, or data entry experience

• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn claims management systems

• Core Tools & Systems

• Claims management software

• Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, data tracking)

• Microsoft Outlook (email communication and scheduling)

• Document management systems

• Data entry platforms


Preferred Skills

• Prior insurance or claims processing experience

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
