Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Clamp Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a clamp forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment and will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing products and materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a clamp forklift to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials.
• Handle pallets, cartons, and other warehouse materials using proper clamp attachments.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Properly place and retrieve products from designated storage locations.
• Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product placement when required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse team members.
• Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining safe work practices.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a clamp forklift is required.
• Forklift certification or documented forklift training is preferred.
• Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position products and materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
