Job Description
We are currently hiring Class A CDL drivers for a high-paying, dedicated retail account. Drivers on this fleet handle regional runs originating out of a Phoenix distribution point, delivering steady, predictable freight to dedicated locations. This position features excellent weekly home time, late-model automatic equipment, and a strong, consistent pay structure.
This is a touch-freight position utilizing specialized rolling equipment to make unloading safe, fast, and efficient.
Pay & Compensation
- Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500 average weekly pay
- Compensation Structure: Earn competitive mileage pay (CPM) plus an additional $220.00 per load for delivery and unload execution.
- Freight Volume: Highly consistent year-round freight, averaging 3 full trailer loads per week.
Schedule & Home Time
- Home Time: Home weekly for a full 34-hour reset.
- Delivery Locations: Routes originate at the distribution center in Phoenix, AZ, with regional delivery lanes throughout Arizona, Utah, and select locations in Southern California.
- Predictability: Stable dispatch schedule with an average of 3 structured dispatches every week.
Freight, Equipment & Unloading
- Equipment: Top-of-the-line late-model sleeper tractors equipped with smooth-shifting automatic transmissions, pulling standard 53-foot dry van trailers.
- Unloading Process: Drivers are responsible for unloading full trailer loads at delivery sites. This account utilizes high-efficiency roto carts and hydraulic lift gates—no loose floor-stacking or heavy individual box-throwing required.
Hiring Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Hiring Radius: Applicants must reside within 75 miles of Phoenix to ensure proper routing and home time execution.
- Compliance: Must meet all standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, background, safety, and drug/alcohol screening requirements.
