Class A CDL Driver

Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows and specialty millwork to the construction industry.Tucker Door & Trim boasts an ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers making regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers in Albany, GA and want you to join our team of drivers who have lifelong careers with us.

• Hourly Pay
• Monday to Friday
• Well maintained and new equipment
• Paid Training
• Dedicated Runs
• Max 2 nights out per week
• Pay based off of EDL
• Layover and hotel per diem

• 18 months of proven truck driving experience within the last 36 months
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
• No major moving or driving violations within the last year
• 18 months of class A commercial driving experience

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure that delivery schedules are meet as scheduled
• Retain all necessary documents for each trip
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods)
• Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Immediately report defects, accidents or violations

Physical RequirementsThis position requires sitting, standing, entering and exiting truck and trailer continuously for long periods of time.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; infrequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.We are an equal-opportunity employer.
