CLASS A CDL DRIVER- DEDICATED

Onestopcdlsolutions is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated, home-daily night-shift position based in Opelika, Alabama. Drivers must live within 40 miles of Opelika.

Compensation and pay structure

• Base pay: $0.48–$0.60 per mile
• Night shift bonus: +$0.05 per mile
• Weekend bonus: +$0.04 per mile
• Top pay potential up to $0.69 per mile (loaded and empty miles)
• Short haul pay: $40 (under 40 miles)
• Stop pay: $10 per stop; $15 for each additional stop
• Detention pay: $20 per hour after 2 hours
• Average weekly earnings: $1,300–$1,550+

Schedule

• Home daily; night shift
• Options for a 5-day or 6-day work week
• Weekend and holiday work required as scheduled

Position overview and primary responsibilities

• Operate company-assigned tractor-trailer on a dedicated account serving national retail locations.
• Complete daily runs with approximately 3–4 retail stops per load and return to the distribution center to reload (slip-seat operation).
• Handle 100% no-touch freight; live loading is not typical for this run.
• Maintain accurate vehicle inspections, logs, and required paperwork.
• Adhere to schedules and communicate with dispatch and support teams to maintain on-time performance.
• Provide dependable attendance and comply with company and DOT regulations.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience
• Residence within 40 miles of Opelika, Alabama
• No major moving violations within the last 3 years
• No at-fault accidents within the last 12 months
• Must pass DOT physical and DOT drug screen and meet DOT compliance requirements
• Personal vehicle required for commute to the distribution center
