Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.
We are looking for a Class ACDL Truck Driver to safely and timely transportation material to and from job sites, while also supporting warehouse operations when deliveries are not in progress. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency across projects by ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Utilize hi/lo and/or forklifts when appropriate
Monitor vehicle condition, including fluids and systems, and log routine check
Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior
Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely manner
Using a 53' Conestoga, dry van, 26' box truck, or 26' stake truck
Properly secure and strap loads to prevent shifting during transit
Maintain accurate and compliant driver logs as required by law
Assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are not scheduled
Support general clean-up and organization
What We're Looking For:
Class A Commercial Driver License required
3+ years of commercial driving experience
Experience driving a 53' Conestoga
Able to pass a drug screen and background check
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to lift and move materials with or without assistance
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
