Class A CDL Driver

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Class A CDL Driver role located in La Porte, TX. The driver will safely operate commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites, following all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and project teams about schedules and site requirements. The role may involve working in industrial and commercial environments, supporting mechanical and electrical service operations, and assisting with basic tasks related to loading, unloading, and positioning equipment at customer locations.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.

• Proficiency in safe vehicle operation, including backing, maneuvering in tight spaces, and securing various types of loads.

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and proper logbook or electronic logging procedures.
• \n
• Ability to read and follow delivery instructions, site safety guidelines, and basic industrial or construction documentation.

• Strong communication skills, reliability, and commitment to safety and ethical conduct in all driving and job-site activities.
• \n
• Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or construction environments is preferred.
• \n
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed, and to work in outdoor and industrial settings for extended periods.
• \n
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional transportation or safety training and relevant endorsements (e.g., tanker, hazmat) are a plus.
