Location: Lansing, MI

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license required
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
• Previous Class A driving experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate 53′ dry van trailers
• Ability to load and unload trailers when needed
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently

Job Duties:

• Operate a CDL Class A truck for local pickups and deliveries throughout Lansing and surrounding areas
• Transport freight safely and efficiently within approximately a 200-mile radius of Lansing
• Perform dock-to-dock deliveries using 53′ dry van trailers
• Complete multiple stops and multiple trips throughout the shift as required
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers using a forklift when needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery and transportation documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding route updates and delivery status
