More miles do not have to mean giving up all of your time at home. LEM Trucking is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Richmond for an operation averaging 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week while providing scheduled resets every other week plus six additional days off each month.

Drivers average $1,200 to $1,600 per week, with quarterly performance-based raise opportunities available. After the first 30 days, qualifying drivers also become eligible for a guaranteed pay program.

How the Schedule Works

This position is structured differently from a traditional OTR schedule. Drivers receive a reset every other week along with six additional days off during the month. The schedule provides productive mileage while building additional home time into the operating cycle.

A Class A CDL Driver can expect a combination of drop-and-hook freight and live load or unload appointments. Freight is 100% no-touch, so drivers are not responsible for physically loading or unloading cargo.

Kenworth T680 Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2020 or newer Kenworth T680 tractors equipped with an APU and inverter. These features provide additional comfort and convenience during overnight trips and resets away from home.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least three months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the previous three years. Every Class A CDL Driver must also meet applicable company safety and qualification standards.

Paid orientation lasts approximately three days, with covered orientation expenses provided during the onboarding process.
