About the Role
American Stone is hiring a full-time Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver stone products to customers, contractors, and store locations.
Pay: $25 to $28 per hour
- Local/Home Daily Routes
- Monday through Friday Schedule
- Flatbed & Dump Truck Deliveries
- Family-Owned Company
This position is ideal for a dependable driver with a strong work ethic who enjoys working independently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers, contractors, and store locations
- Load, secure, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Operate flatbed or dump trucks in compliance with DOT and safety standards
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation
- Maintain delivery records and follow assigned routes
- Assist with yard operations and loading when needed
- Perform basic truck care and ensure equipment remains in good condition
- Represent the company professionally during deliveries
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements
- Valid Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet physical job requirements including lifting and working outdoors
- Ability to pass a dr*g screening
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
Preferred:
- Experience operating flatbed or dump trucks
- Experience with material deliveries or construction-related transportation
- Experience operating loading equipment
- Spanish is a plus
Schedule
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM depending on deliveries and operations.
