About the Role

American Stone is hiring a full-time Class A CDL Driver to deliver stone products to customers, contractors, and store locations.

Pay: $25 to $28 per hour

This position is ideal for a dependable driver with strong Class A CDL experience, including steep grade, off-road, and mountain driving experience. We are looking for someone who is confident driving in challenging road conditions, takes safety seriously, and represents the company professionally during deliveries.

Responsibilities

As a full-time Driver, you are responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while supporting yard and customer operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and store locations
• Safely drive on steep grades, mountain roads, and off-road job site conditions
• Load, secure, and unload materials using appropriate equipment
• Operate flatbed or dump trucks in compliance with safety standards
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow assigned routes
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Assist with loading and yard operations when needed
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements
• Valid Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Steep grade, off-road, and mountain driving experience required
• Experience operating flatbed or dump trucks preferred
• Ability to meet physical job requirements including lifting and working outdoors
• Ability to pass a dr*g screening
• Experience operating loading equipment preferred
• Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
• Candidates must be willing to provide professional references during the hiring process
• Spanish is a plus
