North Florida Emulsions, Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver / Distributor Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in their work and is willing to assist wherever needed to keep projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Operate a distributor truck and other roadway maintenance equipment as needed.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT documentation.
Assist crews with roadway maintenance operations when not driving.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Report equipment issues and perform basic maintenance when appropriate.
Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Distributor truck experience is helpful but not required.
General mechanical experience is helpful.
Experience in roadway maintenance, asphalt, or construction is a plus.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Schedule
Variable hours averaging approximately 30 hours per week.
Overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons.
Some projects require travel throughout Florida and may require staying away from home for up to one week at a time.
Hotel accommodations, work-related travel expenses, and per diem are provided by the company.
