Job Summary:
Affton Transport is currently looking to hire Class A CDL Drivers with a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience. We are looking for local, regional and OTR drivers home daily and weekly. Hazmat and tanker preferred but not required will compensate for acquiring those endorsements. Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations • Transport and deliver goods over long distances in a timely and efficient manner • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle • Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs • Report any issues or incidents to the dispatcher
Qualifications:
• Valid Class A CDL license • Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience • Clean driving record • Knowledge of DOT regulations • Good communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
