Class A CDL Driver
Stormville Trucking Company, located in Stormville, NY, has been committed to customer satisfaction since our start back in 1951.
We are currently seeking a full time, dump trailer driver.
Candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a dump trailer driver with a clean MVR and CSA. Person should be professional and customer oriented.
Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Perform DOT pre- and post-trip inspection of tractor and trailer. Maintain driver log according to government regulations.
- Operate tractor/trailer, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Obtain necessary signatures on delivery tickets and product returns, following company guidelines. Return completed paperwork to dispatcher upon return to worksite.
- Inspect materials to make sure they are loaded correctly.
- Review and verify shipping document information to ensure accuracy of deliveries.
- Collect payment for COD deliveries.
- Ensure deliveries are “on time” per schedule; immediately report any delays to dispatcher.
- Deliver materials to customer location.
- Report unsafe conditions, use equipment properly, handle materials safely, and maintain awareness of DOT safety regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
We offer a competitive salary and benefit package starting at $28.50 - $30 per hour.
